Absolutely! We understand that every business has unique needs. Our team is equipped to manufacture custom-sized pallets tailored to your specific requirements.

Why do custom pallets come with a higher price tag?

Custom pallets are typically more expensive due to the specialized design and manufacturing process they require. Unlike standard pallets, which are mass-produced using fixed molds and patterns, custom pallets are tailored to meet specific dimensions, weight capacities, and material specifications that align with your unique shipping needs. This customization often involves additional labor, materials, and time, which contributes to the higher cost. However, investing in custom pallets can lead to greater efficiency and safety for your specific cargo, potentially saving money in the long run.

Another option is working with us to create a custom pallet with alternative materials like a combination of new and recycled material or completely made of recycled material.

With the Pallet Design System™ (PDS), an engineering, design and marketing tool, we can design the optimum pallet by scientifically determining the safe load carrying capacity, performance and material quantity needed. PDS takes end-user requirements into consideration as it uses fundamental engineering principles to calculate and examine each possible solution. A winning combo of our team of engineers, 30 years of experience in the pallet industry and PDS Software, will give you the best possible solution and protect your products.

Because we’re in the western region, we only offer new lumber made from Softwood.

When selecting wooden pallets, you may come across terms like “softwood” and “hardwood.” Understanding the differences between these two types of wood can help you make an informed decision based on your specific needs.

Availability:

The type of lumber available for your pallets can vary depending on your region. Certain softwoods or hardwoods may be more readily available based on local forestry practices and natural tree distribution.

  • North America: In the western regions, softwoods like pine and fir are more prevalent. In the eastern United States, hardwoods like oak and maple are commonly available.
  • Europe: Countries like Germany and Poland have abundant softwoods, such as spruce and pine, whereas hardwoods like beech and oak are more common in Central and Eastern Europe.
  • Asia: Regions like Southeast Asia offer hardwoods such as teak and rubberwood, while softwoods like pine are more common in Northern Asia.

By understanding these differences and regional factors, you can choose the type of pallet that best meets your specific needs, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in your operations. If you have any further questions or need assistance selecting the right pallet, our team is here to help!

Quality is our top priority. We source our materials from trusted suppliers and conduct rigorous quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that every pallet meets our high standards. Heat-treated pallets are wooden pallets that have undergone a specialized treatment process to enhance their durability and safety for global shipping. This process involves exposing the pallets to a high temperature, typically around 56°C (132.8°F) for a minimum of 30 minutes1. This heat treatment effectively eradicates any pests, larvae, or pathogens that might be present in the wood, ensuring the pallets meet international phytosanitary standards for safe shipping. Our heat-treated pallets comply with the International Standards For Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (ISPM 15), making them essential for businesses looking to export products abroad.

We partnered with Package Research Laboratory. PRL is accredited by both the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC) and the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association (NWPCA) to certify that the wood packaging materials and finished products comply with ISPM 15 guidelines for regulating wood packaging material in international trade. Rest assured that your heat treated pallets comply with ISPM Standards.

We are committed to sustainability. Our recycled wooden pallets are made from renewable resources, and we offer a pallet recycling program to help reduce waste and support a circular economy. We buy back pallets, dismantle these pallets and use the recycled material for your custom recycled pallet, combination or “combo” pallet and standard recycled GMA 48×40 pallet.

Having a good pallet design is crucial for shipping products for several reasons:

  1. Cost Savings: Every dollar counts in business. An efficient pallet design can save significant amounts of money by optimizing space, reducing material costs, and minimizing product damage during transit.
  2. Optimizes Handling and Transport: A well-designed pallet ensures efficient handling and transport beginning to end.
  3. Cargo Stability: The correct pallet type, size, and material are critical to ensure cargo stability during transit, minimizing the risk of damage.
  4. Safety: Proper pallet design enhances safety, reducing the risk of accidents during loading, unloading, and transportation.
  5. Compatibility with Systems: Good pallet design fits automated systems and global trade standards, facilitating smoother operations across different regions.
  6. Space Utilization: Efficient pallet design allows for better space utilization in storage and transport vehicles, which can lead to reduced shipping costs.
  7. Product Protection: Pallets designed with consideration for the product’s shape, size, and weight can better protect the goods from damage during shipment
  8. Environmental Impact: Designing pallets to be durable and reusable can have a positive environmental impact by reducing waste and the need for single-use packaging materials1.

By investing in quality pallet design, you’re not just moving goods; you’re protecting your investment and your bottom line.
